Creativity Calling CIC works in the community with a range of groups. We offer both funded courses for specific groups and also creative courses you can pay for. We deliver Creativity Courses offering support, community, fun and enjoyment. Tea/coffee and cookies are provided in sessions.

We offer Art projects/workshops/ consultancy to support the delivery of the National Curriculum, KS1 and 2, in Art and Design in Primary Schools.
We also offer workshops and consultancy for all aspects of Art education in Secondary Schools.
These can be delivered for an entire day, or weekly events within or after the school day. They can

The projects, workshops and consultancy are bespoke and designed to meet each school’s creative needs and sits alongside the important creative work and ideas already being generated.

We offer creative workshops in a wide range of media for children and parents too. These can be one to one sessions in person or online, supporting and tutoring a young person or young people in a group. We can be working towards an Arts based qualification, such as Arts Award, GCSE or A Level, or simply creating for the joy and fun of creating.

Ciscover Creativity Calling CIC
Our story
Creativity Calling was formed through my own healing process, having experienced a wide range of trauma, that my personal creativity had supported me throughout and that there was a power inherent in the creative experience.
I had been supporting close members of my family who were experiencing a life changing stroke and a severe mental health crisis, my long-term partner walked out of my life, my dog was abused and then I was diagnosed with cancer. My Mum then died and at times it felt like everything was collapsing around me but painting, drawing, making objects, sewing and generally being creative enabled me to support and be myself, finding a way to continue this journey.
I had been an Art teacher for more than 30 years supporting young people from Gaborone to Salisbury, Mumbai to Crawley. During this time, I had also trained as a Creativity Coach. I realised I had the skills to support others with their lives, through creativity and so the idea of Creativity Calling CIC came into being.
Creativity Calling CIC supports people in their lives, building connections and community through series’ of creative workshops and one to one activities. Our work focuses on the process of creating, a piece of art arrives out of this process and whilst this final piece may represent many things, it is the process of creating that truly holds the power. We currently support, asylum seekers and refugees, the older people in our community, vulnerable women, people experiencing mental health conditions, young people and carers exploring painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, ceramics and sculpture. We exhibit the art works in our online gallery and in the communities we work with.
We have a portable art room with a wide range of media and expertise available and are ready to support you and others on your creative journeys.
